The Taormina Hotel Association (AAT) has been representing the hotel industry in Taormina since its foundation in 1951.
The Association is apolitical, and is a non-profit organisation. Its specific aims are to protect the interests of its members in their dealings with the institutions and with political, economic and trade union organisations, as well as to promote tourism and accommodation in Taormina.
The AAT also assists its members in resolving collective and individual labour disputes, supports them in complying with the requirements of current legislation, promotes excellence in hospitality by organising professional development courses for staff, and offers a wide range of special agreements.
In recent years, the inclusion of a variety of establishments in the non-hotel accommodation sector has further expanded its scope of activity. The Taormina Hotel Association is a member of Federalberghi, the leading national organisation representing Italian accommodation providers.
